Frederick aka Wacky Stunt Guy...
http://donchavez.com/blog/index.php/2008/08/19/hot-chick-mac-n-cheese-best-weekend-ever/
Message to Wisconsin folk, your friend Frederick is known to us as "will do crazy and stupid wacky stunts for attention" guy. Among other things. He once ate fire crackers for $20 freaking dollars. And they were light.

Bet of the day

Mr. Betus.com was bent over the table this year. Now it is time to yry for next year. Apparently they did not see the addition of Mo Williams over in Ecuador and the odds are still the same at 18-1. Considering the Cavs took the defending champs to the wire with Lebron and 4 clowns I will take my chances after adding a legit #2 player.

Coach update
Ryan Beringer, August 16th, 2008 appx. 8:00 p.m.
Also being back in D.C. for the evening you knew me and Bryan would fire up some Tecmo.
Game 1: Bryan/49ers 28, Me/Oilers 17....Rice rubbed me, 2 crucial picks thrown by Moon
Game 2: Me/Raiders 17, Bryan/49ers 0....little to no offense in this game
Game 3: Me/Bears 21, Bryan/Broncos 0....Neal Anderson goes nuts with 201 total yards, Elway completes 16% of his passes and tosses 3 int's. Oh and the Broncos ran ONE offensive play in the first half
Game 4: Me/49ers 60, Bryan/Bears 0....not even sure what to say here

Preseason Poll

3 more ballots/write ups
Best pick: Todd Reesing QB, rd 5. Worst pick: Antoine Smith RB, rd 3.
-------------------------------------------------
Darrin - His first two RBs weigh a combined 500lbs. Hill will lose some carries to backups and Lane won't be used as much in A&M's new offense. Kelly should be awesome, but Carr and D Williams will disapoint. Ganz won't have the gaudy numbers from last year, but his backup receivers could turn out well.
--------------------------------------------------
Kobza - He was very smart with his RB picks and grabbed a very good QB in Colt McCoy. McCoy is somewhat under the radar because he makes up for average passing points with rushing yards and tds. With a good QB in Georgia, I really like his 10th round pick in Massaquo and the same in the next round with Tommy Sanders. This team is all around solid without any great strengths or glaring weaknesses.
Best pick: Mohamad Massaquo WR, rd 10. Worst pick: Glenn Coffee RB, rd 7

random ballot I got, tons of people had break downs on ballots this year, love it!10. Tyson - Arian Foster saves Tyson from having the last place team. Took Juice and McGee WAY too high, and Benn is a stud, but might struggle with inconsistent QB play. If you're going to pick a bunch of guys from one team, Illinois is not the answer. Desperately needs another receiver to step up with the loss of Ingram and his Texas RBs are going to split carries. Would be best served playing Crompton every week.
Nate Longshore could win the quarterback job over Kevin Riley. There's still about a week to 10 days before a decision needs to be made as earnest preparations begin for the Aug. 30 opener against Michigan State.
But folks who've watched more than a handful of practices -- when pushed to make a call -- suspect it will be Longshore.

The Cornhuskers will be playing Florida Atlantic, Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State next season, and Western Kentucky, Idaho and Football Championship Subdivision power South Dakota State in 2010.

Update
Position change...

Now, when he stands next to his new teammates — lean and stringy outside receivers — he looks even more out of place. Factor in the shoulder pads that he's been wearing this weekend to protect his tender arm, and Fannin seems positively gargantuan as he runs sideline routes.
Even so, the first two days of Fannin's transition from running back to receiver have been promising.

Draft analysis; Cocaine edition

I was asked what I thought the worst picks of the draft are. So here goes the smoking crack while the pick was made list....
-Jake Sharp.....to early I think
-Juice Williams....may lose his job??
-Kahlil Bell....offense will be subpar
-Aundre Dean....see above; Bell
-Stephen McGee....see Juice Williams explanation
agree? disagree? Did I forgot anyone you think was a bad pick? Post away in the comments
