I just heard this on 590. Travis Justice told the story he heard from a friend of his in the media in Iowa. I'll try to make it short here...When McCarney was fired at ISU Stoops was EXTREMELY mad because him and McCarney were friends and he thought he got a raw deal from the ISU A.D. At Big 12 media days Stoops and the ISU A.D. got in eachothers face and exchanged some heated words. It ended with Stoops saying: "I just want you to know I am gonna run it up on you. Run it up big."

For your info OU is favored by 30 tomorrow, should be interesting to see what happens in this game after hearing this story.
