Not to pile on Craig but you've ridiculed Nebraska over the years about recruiting. ND supposedly has all these top recruiting classes yet when I watch them on television their talet level looks like MAC material. Weis needs to get canned.
maxrb - what's up with needing OT to beat Cal Poly at home? Not to mention I read in the paper today that Cal Poly's kicked missed THREE PAT's. That's unheard of.

look back at last years blog post, there is one I have about Weis about a year old to the date.

and that is exactly why I haven't railed on Weis like I did Willingham for 3/4ths of his tenure. The guy was literally fighting MAC schools for players while Weis is going head to head with the elite schools and winning quite a few of those players. But like you mentioned it is translating to on the field success. So if they fire him I think it is warranted but they best have there catfish in a row and have a solid plan in place if they do so.
you people are led by a crusty buffoon who is wildly incompetant, who hasn’t made a good decision since he decided to start recruiting thugs in the mid 90’s, and then lied to the world about how holier than thou he is. He is also the guy who skipped over hiring proven head coaches like Paul Johnson and Jim Grobe, and went with a whiney, sloth looking crybaby armed with sideline antics that would make Jerry Glanville roll his eyes. Oh and not to mention couldn't have gotten a head gig with a high school team let alone a college program. Add to it the fact he is a horrible recruiter and socially retarded and you like us are screwed. Thing is we know and openly admit it. Oh and good luck this Saturday when we play, it will be like watching to 2 retards screwing. But I guess someone has to win.
I mean Friday when we play.
