A few players out of our 28th ranked class had multiple offers, but very few were from name programs. Four players had no other offers at all and only five recruits had other offers from programs that Rivals ranked in the Top 25 recruiting classes of 2009. Outside of Cody Green, Jason Ankrah, Rex Burkhead, Chris Williams, and Brandon Kinnie, not a single player had an offer from a class ranked in the Top 25. Take away that Arkansas offer from Kinnie and the number dwindles to four. The total number of offers from Top 15 classes for the 20 recruits was 6. Putting it mildy no one wanted these recruits and this will hurt bad in a few years.
There were 15 different recruits that held an NU offer along with either a Texas or OU offer and they pulled in Chris Willams. In head-to-head recruiting battles with the best of the Big 12, they went 1 for 15. Repeat 1 for 15.
I am still stunned that we have a Missouri fan on here talking shit about recruiting. Once again, I could really care less about recruit rankings and stars but obviously you do seem to care. Which brings me back to the point that Nebraska's class rated out better than Missouri's. What are you on here talking shit for?
Talk to me in three or four years when these recruits have actually played significant time. Until then, yawnnnnn.
These are not "my comments" people. These are FACTS and comments from national sports writers from ESPN. Sorry you got losers for recruits who no one wanted.
And I come back cause of the oat pictures of the girls among other things. Now I bet we can agree those be some fine ladies!
From previous comments in Oat section.... MizzouRah- so looking back at the top 5 class in 2005 for the Huskers, would you want our class or keep your 39th ranked class? Star gazing only gets you so far. Pull your head out of your ass.
