I don't really blame Petino for what he did. I think a lot of people in the same situation would do the same thing, especially if you had $3000 to throw around. Remember, this happened 6 years ago and no one had heard a peep about it until this chick tried to extort money from him. Completely against his Catholic views, but if he tells a priest everything he did, he'll go to heaven according to the church.
I don't think he should be fired and I don't think Eustachy should've been either. Sometimes you gotta bow to public pressure though, and firing Petino is a lot bigger then firing Eustachy. Petino could be performing abortions with a coat hanger at mid court during exhibition games and not get fired, cause he's Rick Fucking Petino. Just look at all the shit Bobby Knight got away with in his career before he finally got canned.
Octo - It's hard for me saying this because I'm a dog lover but I say Vick paid his debt (for now) to society by serving his time in the pen. He deserves a second chance (even though you could probably say he's had many chances already) to make something of his life. I say zero tolerance. If he slips up again I could care less if they lock him up and throw away the key. If he proves to be a changed man...good for him.
As for tattoo logo guy...I guess I'm that guy. Not ashamed. I got the old school Herbie Husker tattooed on my arm back in 1998. It was my first ink. Don't care what anybody thinks. My love for the Huskers is stronger than almost anything for me besides my family, friends, sex, and money. I've been going to the games since I was a little kid and would argue that I'm as big of a fan as there is. So if that makes me a loser, once again, so be it.
